Using computers is improving your motor skills.

Scientists have released new research showing that clicking on all those cat videos is actually improving your fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.

The study shows people's ability to translate training that involves moving a mouse and clicking items on a screen reveals that the human brain is able to apply the same skills to other tasks that require using hands.

Moving a pointer onscreen with a mouse is also changing the way we think and perceive three-dimensional space.

The researchers say this means computer games can be used to help stroke patients improve their motor skills.
