AZUSA (CNS) - A suspect who barricaded himself in an Azusa residence, prompting a SWAT response and the lockdown of a neighborhood, was found dead tonight, authorities said.
The situation began unfolding shortly after 3 p.m. in the 800 block of East Pepper Tree Drive, near Citrus College, according to Azusa police.
At the time, the suspect was believed to be barricaded and possibly armed in a home he broke into, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, which cited police radio transmissions.
