Calphalon Knives Recalled Over Laceration Hazard

Calphalon has announced that the company is recalling 2 million of its knives due to a laceration hazard.

Contemporary Cutlery carving, chef, paring, santoku and utility knives between August 2008 and March 2016 are affected by the recall. The company says that there is a possibility of breakage during use of one of these knives.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has received 27 reports of lacerations and 3,150 reports of broken knives.
