Teen Finds a 7.44 Carat Diamond At A State Park

Talk about a lucky find! A teenage boy in Arkansas founds a 7.44 carat diamond at the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas.

People come to this state park in hopes of finding a diamond... and very few usually do. But when Kalel Langford visited the park with his parents he had a stroke of luck.

After being in the park for 30 minutes, he spotted the dark brown gem sparkling on the floor. He took the diamond to the Diamond Discovery Center where they told him that found one of he biggest diamonds ever at the park. In fact, it's the 7th largest diamond ever found at the park.

Kalel says he plans to hang on tight to the diamond!
