City Ban In Canada Puts An Age Limit On Trick-Or-Treaters

A city in Canada, Bathurst, New Brunswick, has passed a city-wide ban on anyone over the age of 16 trick-or-treating. They have also mandated an 8 p.m. curfew on Halloween night.

A fine of $200 may be issued if caught breaking the rules. This ban may seem severe, even to the city officials who've called to object, but were outvoted.

It has since sparked debate on social media, and an impromptu survey of Today show viewers found that 66% agree that there should be an age ban on trick-or-treating.
