You Must Have 20,000 Followers to Pose By New Mural

Remember the days when you had to be somebody to get into the happening clubs and restaurants in the city? Well, now that happening spot has become a mural on Melrose and being "somebody" means having more than 20,000 followers on social media.

The new happening spot is security guarded 24/7 and is only interested in special features staring influencers and verified users (blue checks next to ones handle name). To be verified on social media basically means that "an account of public interest is authentic."  The idea is to prevent catfishers and drive more traffic to your business.

Twitter and Instagram verification both work for access into the guarded location. Twitter user @JustinCaffier says "your reggo friends gotta wait outside."
