Some Schools Are Wanting To Start Banning Chocolate Milk!

If you haven't heard already, New York City schools want to start banning chocolate milk from their public schools.

According to the Department of Education, they stated "The thinking is that these kids are already getting too much sugar, why are they getting it in their milk?’’

Some districts in San Fransisco and Washington D.C. have already banned flavored milk. As of right now, this move has parents and their children divided.

As of right now, no final decision has been made yet. The New York Health Department says that 8 ounces of local public schools’ chocolate skim milk has 120 calories and 20 grams of sugar, 8 grams of which are added sugar.

Do you think all public schools should ban or keep flavored milk?!
