One Killed in Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash Near Llano

LLANO (CNS) - One person was killed in a fiery two-vehicle crash in the Antelope Valley community of Llano, authorities said Saturday.

California Highway Patrol officers responded at 11 p.m. Friday to the collision on Pearlblossom Highway at 263rd Street where they found a white van and a sedan blocking one lane of the two-lane highway, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.

One vehicle flipped on its side and was in flames when officers arrived.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Firefighters and paramedics dispatched to the scene at 11:05 p.m. transported no one to a hospital, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
