Please join me this Sunday as I talk to Jessica Romley from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County! More than 9 million youth across the nation don’t have a mentor or trusted adult in their lives who they can turn to for guidance and advice.
Fortunately, one nonprofit, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County and the Inland Empire, is working hard each day to match more than 3,000 youth annually with professional supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships. That’s because research confirms that quality mentoring relationships have positive, powerful effects on young people in a variety of personal, academic and professional situations.
