Toys R Us To Shut Down All Remaining US Stores

It's the end of an era  for many kids, after 70 years in business, Toys R Us is closing all of its 735 U.S. stores.

The toy chain said in a Bankruptcy Court filing, "the best way to maximize their recoveries is to liquidate the existing inventory in all...735 remaining U.S. stores and begin an orderly wind-down of the U.S. operations."

Toys R Us announced not too long ago they'd still have 400 stores open, but unfortunately couldn't afford to operate them.  The company filed for bankruptcy late last year, they hoped the holiday season would bring in strong sales,  but that wasn't the case.
