Amber Heard Donates Over $1-Million To Children's Hospital Los Angeles

Actress Amber Heard followed through on her promise to donate the money from her $7 million divorce settlement from Johnny Depp to charities helping abused women and sick children.

While the exact number is unclear, the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles revealed in its annual report that Amber donated between $1 million and $5 million at some point during the July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017 fiscal year.

Heard announced in August that she would be donating her entire divorce settlement.

She said, “Money played no role for me personally and never has, except to the extent that I could donate it to charity and, in doing so, hopefully help those less able to defend themselves."
