Ketchup Packets May Be The New Plastic Straws:Extinct

The ketchup packet days could be limited as Kraft Heinz Co announced plans today overhaul its packaging designs to find greener alternatives. The food giant said today (Tuesday 7/31) that it will make ALL of its packaging 100% recyclable, reusable or compostable by the year 2025. They aren't quite sure yet, how they will address non-recyclable and non-reusable packaging like ketchup packets.

This news follows the recent plastic straws ban and has consumers excited about saving the planet!

Kraft Heinz is one of many companies like Unilever Plc, Procter & Gamble Co., Nestle SA, and Colgate Palmolive CO that have set deadlines to make their products more green.
