"Avengers: End Game" Cast Cements Their Place In History Today

The moment that all of superhero-loving America (pretty much everyone) has been waiting for is finally here. After 11 years, since the first movie of what would become one of the most popular and highest grossing movie series of all time, "The Avengers", is finally coming to an end. "Avengers: End Game" is set to release on April 26th, 2019.

This morning, in celebration of the upcoming release, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Charlotte Johansson and company joined the list of nearly 200 of the world's most famous Hollywood Celebrities by imprinting their handprints in cement at the world renowned Grauman's Chinese Theater. This tradition has been around since 1927, and is a privilege reserved to the Crème De la Crème of Hollywood's superstars. This list includes imprints ranging from Whoopi Goldberg's dreadlock, Harry Potter's (Daniel Radcliffe) wand, to Herbie's the racing Volkswagen's tire marks. The "Avengers" cast chose the more traditional route, and imprinted the marks of their hands into history for eternity.

The event, hosted by KOST 103.5's Ellen K, was well-attended, with hundreds upon hundreds of fans eager to see their favorite celebrities in person. The movie has been praised by critics, being called "Overwhelmingly epic and intensely satisfying", and " A super send-off". What is even more impressive is the movie's critic rating of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, which, if you don't know, is very hard to achieve. Needless to say, fans and critics alike can not wait for "Avengers: End Game" to come out on April 26th. After all, the fate of the universe is in the hands of a power-drunk, world-destroying, giant space God creature. That's the kind of stuff you'll want to see.
