Rod Stewart just revealed that he's been treated for prostate cancer after fighting the disease for three years. At 74 years old he told the crowd that he was given the all clear in July after he was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in 2016.
He said "No one knows this, but I thought this was about time I told everybody,I'm in the clear, now, simply because I caught it early. I have so many tests."
During his speech, he encouraged other men to get their prostates checked out regularly.
His exact words were "Guys, you've got to really go to the doctor. Finger up the bum, no harm done."
According to the World Health Organization, there are 1.3 million cases of prostate cancer diagnosed world wide.
We are happy to hear our friend Rod Stewart is well and healthy!
