The fast food chain shared a template to teach you how to build your own Happy Meal box and make meal time at home a little more fun for your little ones!
If you go to the McDonald's website, there's a template to make the classic red and yellow Happy Meal box that we all know and love. You can download and print the images, and then it's up to you to fold it and put it all together!
You could surprise your kiddos and make the box as a lunchtime surprise, but the template and folding is actually pretty simple that they could do it as their own DIY project to keep them busy for a while, too! Then you can fill the box with their favorite go-to meals and snacks. Now, these boxes don't come with a toy inside so you'll have to get creative for that part!
While the dining rooms are closed for safety, McDonald's is working on drive-thru, takeout, and delivery orders. McDonald's is offering free Thank You Meals (that come in the infamous Happy Meal bow) to healthcare workers and first responders through May 5.
