Hundreds of LA County Businesses Defy Public Health Rules Upon Reopening

Public officials are speaking out on how hundreds of Los Angeles businesses were allowed to reopen but failed to follow safety rules.

Out of roughly 400 businesses last weekend, 162 were letting customers into stores not practicing social distancing along with not requiring facial coverings. As a result, now 60 Los Angeles businesses are facing criminal charges for reopening against stay-at-home orders. This includes car washes, gyms and hair salons.
