Southland Beaches Reopen After Being Closed During Holiday Weekend

Southland beaches have now reopened after being closed during the Fourth of July weekend.

If you are planning to go to the beach again, you will be able to. Beaches were closed on the holiday weekend to help stop the spread of COVID-19. This decision was made due to the recent spike in cases.

The beaches in Los Angeles County reopened at 5a.m. after the County Board of Supervisors closed beaches, piers, beach bike paths and beach access points.

Face coverings are still required outside of the water and when around other people.
