Red flag warning has just been issued for Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura counties due to the heat wave.
The red flag warning will be in effect until 6 pm. Friday in the San Gabriel Mountains in LA and Ventura counties, Angeles National Forest, Ventura County's Los Padres National Forest, Santa Clarita Valley, Orange County's Santa Ana Mountains and inland Orange County cities.
According to an NWS statement, they said "This combined with humidities lowering into the single digits will create several hours of critical fire weather conditions to this area.''
