The NFL will be giving 7,500 free Super Bowl tickets to vaccinated health care workers. This year's game is in Tampa and officials say that most of the health care workers will be from Central Florida.

32 teams will be able to pick some vaccinated workers from their community to attend the game as well. According to Roger Goodell, the NFL Commissioner, he stated:

"These dedicated health care workers continue to put their own lives at risk to serve others, and we owe them our ongoing gratitude. This is also an opportunity to promote the importance of vaccination and appropriate health practices, including wearing masks in public settings. We hope in a small way that this initiative will inspire our country and recognize these true American heroes."

There will also be an additional 14,500 fans allowed in the stadium, but there are no further details just yet. The NFL coordinated its plans for the game with the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention.
