Getting tickets to the big game is always a hot and rare commodity...but this year tickets are extra hard to get your hands on since only about 14,000 will be sold.
Up to 22,000 people will be in attendance and that includes 7,500 vaccinated health care workers, who were given all-expense paid trips. But a few of the teams' players are giving up more tickets for a good cause!
Kansas City Chiefs fullback Anthony Sherman gave two tickets to a young fan who's suffering from an inoperable brain tumor. The young fan, Jace Ward, was only given six to nine months to live...almost two years ago, and he's still here! What a thing to celebrate!
Jace Ward said "I can't express how much it means to go to the Super Bowl. As a lifelong Chiefs fan, I've probably watched over 100 games with my dad. So going to the big one, going to the Super Bowl, it's gonna be so incredible."
Also, Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski surprised additional healthcare workers with tickets! He said, "During one of the toughest times our community, nation, and the world has ever experienced . . .It was our healthcare workers that made sacrifices every day."
