Due to a slight increase in new COVID cases in Los Angeles County and with spring break approaching, officials are asking people to avoid travel if possible.
There has generally been a downward trend in the new infection numbers. According to numbers released on Thursday, hospitalization numbers continued to fall and the current rate of people testing positive for the virus dropped to 2.5% which was just above the statewide rate of 2.1%. Health officials are now warning against leisure travel since Spring Break is approaching. They highly suggest that anyone who travels out of the area is required to quarantine for 10 days when they return to Los Angeles County.
What are your thoughts on this? Are you planning on going anywhere for Spring Break?
