For 2021 graduation season, seniors will be able to walk across the stage in front of their loved ones. With more people receiving their COVID-19 vaccinations across California and rates declining, the state has released new guidance rules for schools and colleges to hold graduation ceremonies in a safe way.

The guidelines state that the number of attendees should be limited and venues should not hold ceremonies within two hours of each other. The state also says anyone who is attending should wear masks, except speakers who should maintain 6-feet apart from others.
