Today, on April 16th, 2021, Selena Quintanilla would turn 50 years old!
It's been over 25 years since Selena was tragically killed. Murals all over California are honoring her life and legacy. One of the artists paying tribute is Levi Ponce. Ponce stated "To me Selena represents just my childhood. Like growing up in the airwaves there wasn't a lot that represented me, that represented my people, my town, my pueblo, my barrio. There wasn't a lot, and Selena was everywhere in English and in Spanish."
