GM just issued a second recall of their Bolt electric vehicles, over a battery issue that can cause fires.

The recall affects roughly 69,000 vehicles spanning 2017-2019 due to a rare manufacturing defect in the battery that can result in fires. Customers can now get the battery replaced free of charge and will be notified when the parts are ready.

GM is recommending that Bolt owners do not park their vehicles inside or leave them charging overnight unattended.
