Equinox and SoulCycle will now require proof of vaccination in New York City starting in September before taking place at all locations around the world.
According to Equinox, they said that their riders and employees must provide a one-time proof of vaccination in the form of the vaccine card, a photo of the card or a digital pass. The company stated that they will work with those who require medical or religious accommodations.
Equinox Group Executive Chairman Harvey Spevak said "We have a responsibility to take bold action and respond to changing circumstances with urgency. We encourage other leading brands to join us in this effort to best protect our communities.”
