OpenTable is working with a company called CLEAR, to allow users to display digital vaccine cards.
Since most restaurants and locations are now requiring proof of your vaccination, this will be a easier, more helpful way. If you want to know if a restaurant has a certain vaccine requirement, the eatery will have a CLEAR banner on the confirmation page.
You then double tap on the banner, the diner will be promoted to create a CLEAR digital vaccine card and will connect your verified identity to their proof of vaccination from hundred of vaccine providers and national pharmacies.
They stated "Our partnership with CLEAR furthers our commitment to help both restaurants and diners navigate dining out in the next chapter of the pandemic. This collaboration aims to streamline restaurant entry, saving time for both restaurant staff and diners and lets everyone focus on the meal, not the logistics."
