For once, I can report that a Burmese Python did not eat anyone or anything in our great state of Florida, but instead, a snake in the Phitsanulok province in northern Thailand this time got a little too greedy when it tried to swallow an entire cow whole.
The 15-foot long Burmese python was discovered on August 21 after a farmer's cow went missing, according to Newsflare.
The farmer went looking for her and what he discovered, and filmed, was that his beloved missing cow had been swallowed whole by the massive snake.
“The python must have been hungry and saw the cow. It then strangled the cow to kill it before swallowing its whole body,” said village official Nirun Leewattanakul. “However, after the cow died inside the snake, its body became swollen and stretched the snake’s stomach even more. It was such a scary scene.”
Reportedly, authorities burned and buried both the snake and the cow's remains.
