The new "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" has broke records at the box office, grossing $90.1 million opening weekend!
The sequel to 2018's comic-book saga starring Tom Hardy surpassed some of Marvel's hottest releases on their domestic opening weekend numbers.
To put things into perspective Marvel's “Black Widow” starring Scarlett Johansson received $80 million followed by “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” at $71.4 million.
This has been one of the highest opening weekends since the start of the pandemic in North American theaters, according to industry estimates released today.
