Stroke Survivor Rejoices When He Learns How To "HUG AGAIN"

Could you imagine not being able to physically reach out and hug someone? Well, this group project led to a piece of adaptive equipment making two-handed hugs a reality again! 🤗 A group of students at Arkansas State's Department of Occupational Therapy were challenged with making something for their professor's dad who had suffered from a stroke. The students watched a video of him completing his daily activities and then were able to interview him on FaceTime to gain further knowledge on his wants and needs. After brainstorming, they came up with a piece of adaptive equipment that would allow him to HUG AGAIN.
