This Popular Destination Will Pay Tourists to Visit Need a vacation and some extra cash?

Taiwan is offering tourists $165 to visit for their next vacation.

500 thousand individuals will receive the payment, and 90 thousand tour groups will receive $658.

Transport Minister Wang Kuo-tsai stated Wednesday that the cash allowance will be delivered digitally. Tourists will be able to use it to cover their expenses in Taiwan, including for accommodation.

He added the measures are aimed at attracting more visitors from key markets including Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macao, as well as Europe and America.

While no details on how to sign up have been shared yet, Taiwan’s Premier Chen Chien-jen has said that the country is aiming to bring in six million tourists this year.
