The beloved Peanut cartoon dog, Snoopy, now has a real-life look-a-like.
Bayley is a black and white SheepaDoodle with black ears, a large black snout along with its mostly white coat that resembles Snoopy.
The adorable Sheepadoodle gained attention this week after the Doodles Dog Club put the canine alongside the animated character and it went viral.
“Meet Bayley Sheepadoodle, the spitting Image of Snoopy,” read the caption on the post, which has been like over 1 million times. “With those big ears and that button nose, Bayley is the perfect real-life version of our favorite cartoon dog.”
As of Thursday, the dog was at 157,000 followers on its social media account Bayley.sheepdog.
On Tuesday, Bayley’s owners celebrated National Pet Day by sharing a video of Bayley giving “paw” with the caption “Happy National Pet Day. Mom says I am the cutest pet she has ever seen but to be fair, I am her first and the only furbaby.”
The two-year-old dog is a mix of Old English Sheepdog and Mini Poodle. They average about 45 lbs and 20 inches.
Bayley received so many compliments from followers.
“Kind, cuddly, merry, and gentle, Mini Sheepadoodle puppies are truly sweethearts,” the breed’s profile reads. “They are generous in affection, attentive, obedient, and love to impress their human family by any means.”
“Can confirm, you’re pretty darn cute,” said Poppy, the Leggy Italian Greyhound.
“Snoopy! You’re real!” wrote a human Instagram user.
Snoopy is an iconic character beagle that made its debut in the 'Peanut' comic strip in 1950 and later found greater popularity in animated television, film, in the annual Thanksgiving Macy's Parade in New York and most recently in an American Red Cross event ad.
