If you love watermelon, there's an event you don't want to miss!
The California watermelon festival is a yearly outdoor event where you're sure to see and eat all things watermelon.
It's happening this weekend on June 17 and 18 from 10am to 10pm at the Hansen Dam Soccer Fields in the San Fernando Valley.
There will also be live entertainment, vendors selling craft items, clothing, and other novelty goodies. But most importantly, you get to celebrate and enjoy all-you-can-eat watermelon.
The festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to help fund local after school programs and charities.
