Could this story BE more adorable??
A few years ago, Scout escaped the Antrim County Animal Shelter 3 times. And every time he escaped, he was found asleep on the couch in the front lobby of Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility, a nursing home. After the 3rd time, the employees decided to adopt him.
Mama Robertson, a Meadow Brook Administrator, said, "I'm a person who looks at outward signs. He did that one time, two times, three times, and obviously that's something you should pay attention to. And I asked the staff, "Well, he wants to be here. Would anybody like to have a dog?"
Not only do residents love him, but he walks the halls freely, opens doors, and knows when people are sick and will go up to them and cuddle.
