Imagine going to get a meal from a taco truck and ending up rich.
Well, a California couple stopped to eat at a taco truck that led to their winning a $1 million lottery jackpot.
Tim Dynes and his wife had just returned from a trip overseas and the wife was craving tacos, so they stopped at a taco truck in Patterson.
Dynes often buys scratch-off lottery tickets from the gas station across from the taco truck, so he did the usual and bought a Diamond 8's Scratcher ticket.
While waiting for his food he scratched off his ticket and it revealed a $1 million prize.
"Nobody knew I won -- not even my wife, until I told her on the drive home," Dynes recalled.
Dynes has won prizes worth more than $100 before, but this was the major prize he had been waiting for.
