Dog Saves Boy Trapped in Rubble During Hurricane Helene

An 11-year-old boy was trapped in the rubble of what was left of his home and believed he was not going to make it. Until his dog, Tucker, saved the day.

Tucker and Jamie have always been inseparable. Their bond was everything when Hurricane Helene pushed through the area where the two were home with Jamie's grandparents and sister, Gemma.

Suddenly, a mudslide slammed into their house and the entire family were thrown in every corner of the home.

Jamie, however, ended up below the stairs in a pile of rubble about 12 ft. deep.

He screamed for help to no avail. But Tucker stayed nearby and kept barking and whining until help came.

Firefighters eventually arrived and used chainsaws to dig Jamie out from under the rubble.

Jamie was then flowed out to get medical help where he was treated and released shortly after.

The medical team of nurses all chipped in to help pay for basic needs for the family to help them get back on their feet.

Thank goodness for Tucker who did not leave his best friend's side. Jamie is still here today because of him.
