Disneyland Holiday Festivities Has Begun

The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort has officially begun and is set to last until Jan. 6, 2025.

Park guests can visit Santa Claus who has a new shop at the Fantasyland Theater in Disneyland for cookie decorating, craft making and storytelling.

St. Nick has scheduled appearances at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure Park, Pixar Place Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian and the Disneyland Hotel. Guests can also see Santa in the finale of the A Christmas Fantasy parade at Disneyland.

There is a new Chip and Dale Ornament Trail which takes place throughout Downtown Disney. The holiday-themed scavenger hunt will take guests across the district looking for hidden ornaments on holiday trees.

Visitors can get a scavenger hunt map for $9.99 at select merchandise locations in Downtown Disney. However, Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail ends on New Year’s Day.

Guests can enjoy a festive breakfast or brunch with Disney characters dressed in pajama outfits at Storytellers Cafe in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel where they are hosting the new Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party event. The party also runs until Jan. 1. More information can be found here.

Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Clarabelle will dazzle the park with their holiday spirit and new themed outfits.

In addition to all the new holiday gifts, there is plenty of holiday favorites that has returned to the Disneyland Resort as well.

The “Believe … In Holiday Magic” fireworks show will return to Disneyland while “World of Color-Season of Lights” will return to DCA.

Holiday overlays for It’s a Small World, Haunted Mansion, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi’s Rollickin Roadsters will also return.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! festivities, including daily crafts, live music, menu items and décor inspired by Latin American traditions, will be back at DCA.

Seasonal food, including the Disney Festival of Holidays and Disney Viva Navidad food festivals, will also be available across the resort.
