Wild Rivers Waterpark will participate in an international event on Thursday, June 26, aimed at reducing childhood drowning incidents.
Titled “Mission Possible: Swim Lessons Save Lives,” the initiative brings together swim facilities across the globe to promote the life-saving benefits of swim education.
A $40 registration fee grants guests all-day park admission, a chance to receive a commemorative T-shirt (available to the first 150 participants), and contributes $20 to the Jasper Ray Foundation’s drowning prevention efforts.
Those interested must sign up ahead of time and arrive no later than 9:45 a.m. on the event day. Due to limited availability, early registration is encouraged at wildrivers.com/companies/wlslday using the access code WLSL2025.
Drowning continues to be a top cause of death for children between 1 and 4 years old. According to Memorial Care, swim lessons are not merely enjoyable—they're essential for a child’s safety.
