Neighborhood decorates early to honor mother with cancer

Christmas day came early for this Carmel woman. Lori Graves is on home hospice and has been battling terminal ovarian cancer. Her husband, Steven was told she only had a couple weeks left to live, so her neighborhood came together to bring her some joy. Lorie loved Christmas and everything about it- so Windbush Way brought Christmas in August. Steven contacted USA Lighting Direct about putting Christmas lights up early and they were happy to do so. What could potentially be Lori's last Christmas, became a celebration to honor her. Neighbor Shane Best said he had tears in his eyes and was ready to decorate. As a thank you, Steven hosted a Christmas party and invited the whole neighborhood. He says he's so thankful for his neighbors because Lorie is truly an amazing person.
