The new IKEA in Burbank opened its doors today and welcomed tons of eager shoppers waiting outside. CurbedLA reported that there were 1,500 people in line this morning at the time of the opening.
The store is 456,000 square feet... that's larger than 8 football fields! The first 26 people in line were lucky enough to score a free $799 sofa. The next 100 people were gifted a free armchair and the next 2,500 visitors got food court gift cards.
