We love this story! A couple in Santa Monica decided that an over-the-top wedding just wasn't for them.
The couple will tie the knot today as planned, however, there will be no pomp and circumstance. They have instead decided to use their wedding budget to feed starving children in Cameroon that have been impacted by violence.
The couple will be donating $20,000 through the World Food Program's Share The Meal app. This will fund 40,000 meals!
Instead of wedding gifts, the couple is encouraging their friends and family to whip out their smartphones and make a donation through the app as well. Their goal is to raise 1 million meals.
