The rain is up on in Southern California. The effects on flights are already extensive and the worst of the storm hasn't hit yet.
At John Wayne Airport in Orange County all American Airlines flights from 9am to 7:30pm were canceled and Southwest flights from 10am onward were cancelled as well.
LAX and Bob Hope Airport were experiencing similar delays and cancellations. The LA Times reports that 130 flights will be affected by the weather today.
Airports are recommending that you check with your airline before heading out to the airport today, just in case there have been changes to your flight.
