Actor David Cassidy, who is best known for his role on the hit 70s sitcom The Partridge Family, has revealed to People that he is battling dementia.
The 66-year-old actor has been on the road traveling as a musician. He says that he will stop touring to focus on his health and "...on what I am, who I am and how I’ve been without any distractions."
Cassidy has a family history of dementia. His grandfather and mother both struggled with the disease. He told People, "I feared I would end up that way."
Cassidy took to Twitter to thank everyone for their love and support during this time.
