Police Help Girl With Homework After She Reaches Out On Facebook

From a young age, we're taught to reach out to police officers when we need help. One 10-year-old girl took this lesson to heart when she was having trouble with her math homework.

Lena Draper just couldn't get through her order of operations assignment one night. She decided to go online to seek out help. She came across the Marion Ohio Police Department on YouTube and watched a video of police helping out a first grade boy. So she thought, why not reach out with her homework problem.

She sent them a message and someone from the police department started replying.

Lieutenant B.J. Gruber, a father of four, sat there and tried to help her out. He ended up with the wrong answer but it's the thought that counts!
