First All-Female Crew Flies From Brunei To Saudi Arabia

This is incredible. The first all-female flight crew just completed a flight from Brunei to Saudi Arabia - a place where women aren't even allowed to drive.

Royal Brunei Airlines says that the company is committed to offering more opportunities to women. They currently offer a Engineering Apprentice program that is available to men and women.

Captain Sharifah Czarena Surainy Syed Hashim tells The Independent, "It’s really showing the younger generation or the girls especially that whatever they dream of, they can achieve it.”

The crew completed the flight on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner this past February 23rd, on Brunei's National Day, which celebrates the country's independence.
