Humans love ice cream, and apparently, so do squirrels!
A North Carolina ice cream shop is visited on a daily basis by a female squirrel looking for her scoop of vanilla ice cream. The owners of Fantasy Isle Ice Cream and Mini Golf, Scott and Pam Martin, say that Putter the Squirrel has been showing up since last summer for the tasty treat.
“You can call her name and she will literally come out of her nest in one of these big trees and hop her way down to the roof to ultimately to the rail and waits on her cone,” Scott told WWAY.
The Martins prepare a petite sized cone for Putter filled with vanilla or no added sugar ice cream twice daily. How sweet of them!
