Man Spends Over $1,000 on Ice Cream for Strangers!

Last Saturday night, one man at an ice cream shop wanted to pay it forward, and that's exactly what he did. At Sweet Sammies Ice Cream Shop in Fort Worth, Texas, a man called Mr. Gary paid the bill of more than $1,000 for more than 300 customers. He started from about 7:30pm up until the store's closing at 10pm.

Kory Close, the son of owners Dan and Kelly Close reported, "[Mr.Gary] initially said he was going to cap it at $300. Then he got to 300, and he said 'okay, let's go to 500'. Then once it got to 500, he decided he was gonna shut it down. He was gonna close us up."

Turns out so-called "Mr.Gary" paid much more than $500. He also ended up tipping the three on-duty. Kory said he appreciated the business, but what made him happiest was seeing everyone enjoying themselves. He said, "It was cool. You know, we get all walks of life here coming into the shop here. We're a very diverse community, and it was just cool to see everybody interacting with each other like normal human beings should.

Mr. Gary's generosity made for more than just a sweet treat. It's very touching knowing that there was no motive for his actions other than wanting to make other people smile.
