Founded in 1984, Camp Sunshine provides retreats combining respite, recreation and support, while enabling hope and promoting joy, for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through the various stages of a child’s illness.
The Around the World Swim is a 10-mile open ocean swim around California’s Coronado Island happening on April 29, 2017. The event was inspired by the SEAL Hell Week evolution of the same name when students paddle small boats around Coronado Island. This swim will symbolize the endurance and strength required by Camp Sunshine families.
