It's ok to laugh at this. Luxury designer, Balenciaga, is now selling a tote bag that looks almost identical to those bright blue bags they sell at IKEA... for the low, low price of $2,145!
IKEA sells their Frakta bag for only 99 cents.
Of course, the Internet is having some fun comparing the two bags and their price tags. IKEA is jumping in on the joke as well.
The company released an ad which compares the designer bag to their version. The ad tells customers how to identify an original Frakta bag:
SHAKE IT. If it rustles, it's the real deal.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL. It can carry hockey gear, bricks, and even water.
THROW IT IN THE DIRT. A true FRAKTA is simply rinsed off with a garden hose when dirty.
PRICE TAG. Only $0.99.
