29-year-old Mandy Harvey lost her hearing when she was 18 due to health issues, however, that hasn't stopped her from singing. Harvey delivered an amazing performance on America' Got Talent that earned a standing ovation and a Golden Buzzer by Simon Cowell.
She performed her original song, “Try,” which she says the inspiration came from, "After I lost my hearing, I gave up, but I want to do more with my life than just give up."
After losing her hearing, Harvey used muscle memory, visual tuners, and trusted her pitch to get back into singing.
