Join Me For The LA Walk To Defeat ALS

I talked to some pretty wonderful folks in charge of the 15th Annual Los Angeles Walk to Defeat ALS. The event is coming up Sunday October 15th at Exposition Park in Los Angeles.

Fred Fisher, President ALS Association Golden West Chapter. Since 2003, Fred Fisher has served as the President and CEO of The ALS Association Golden West Chapter which provides care services for people with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and their families, funds global cutting-edge research, and advances important public policy initiatives.

Joy Aronson, Committee Member, Los Angeles County Walk to Defeat ALS Joy Aronson lost her mother, Milly, in 2007 to ALS. As a member of the LA Walk’s “Team Milly,” Joy and her family have raised $65,684. Joy talks about her mother’s battle with ALS, the work of the Golden West Chapter, and the LA Walk to Defeat ALS.

Richard Zaitlen, Richard  will be celebrated as the 2017 Los Angeles County Walk Hero honoree for his extraordinary determination and efforts in the areas of advocacy, fundraising, and public awareness while living with ALS.
